Who was Graham staines? - GRAHAM STAINES (1941-1999)

After Jesus went back to heaven he sent his disciples to all over the world to preach good news.  In his disciples most of them was martyrs.  Only John was left.  From that period to this time there were many peoples gives their life for Jesus.  But they never afraid,  because of the love of christ in their heart.

After the independence India were a poor  country.  There were poverty and no education for peoples and also too many bad rituals. From the coordination of language,  alphabets christian missionaries have a great part of India's development. 

January 8,  1965 an GRAHAM STUART STAINES  came to India with a passion for share the love of Jesus. Graham Staines was the second son of William and Elizabeth.  He born in 1941 at Palmwoods, Australia.  At the age of 10 he surrendered his life to Jesus in a gospel meet.  He came to Mayurbanj an very poor district of  Orissa, India.  His life destiny to serve the poor, needy and lepers.  He believes he was called by God to show God's love to the people. He never look back home.  Leaving the luxurious of Australia and living among the poverty of India.  He met Gladys in June 1981 while working for the leprosy patients.  August 6, 1983 married and had 3 children Esther Joy, Philip Graham, Thimothy Harod all had the same motivation to serve the needy. 

On the night 22 January 1999 he attended a jungle camp in Manoharpur.  When back to home they stayed in Manoharpur sleeping in the vehicle because of cold.  A group of 50 people armed with axes and implements harmed them burned the car. 

He and his 3 children died their and his wife and daughter still remained.  It was RSS behind this murder.  At the time of funeral service his wife do not cried she still preached the forgiveness for the victim.  In 2000 Bajrangdal activist Dara singh convicted. 

It made an huge impact on the Evangelism  of India.
